MFV have returned with their sophomore EP - the rollicking, rambunctious 'Buckshot Days'.

Drawing lyrical influences from Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian and Sam Peckinpah’s nihilist westerns, 'Buckshot Days' is another collection of folk songs for the apocalypse, albeit one with a dark sense of humour running through it.

The additions of melancholic viola and harmonica has seen the band exploring new corners of their psychedelic Western soundscape whilst traversing a range of themes and imagery, from environmental collapse to hard living in frontier towns.

With backup vocals by recent addition Margaret Fletcher, the rambling 6 piece carve out a unique sound that reflects the Australian landscapes of open ocean, forests, mountains and grasslands that inspire them.
